The Berkeley is family owned and run by a small team of dedicated staff. The Berkeley is situated in the heart of Ayr  town centre only 10 minutes from Prestwick/Glasgow airport and 30 minutes from Glasgow international it is  ideally situated for those wishing to explore the lowlands and beyond.

The Berkeley was originally built as a private residence by the Hamilton family in 1803 for their daughter and the house has played role to a family run hotel over 40 years ago. Over the last 25 years the property has been used as a local office for a lawyers firm. Now the current owners bring thier guests a luxury boutique hotel.
